Arnette Barfield Obituary
Mr. Arnette Barfield, 72, husband of Hazel Chandler Barfield, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, after injuries sustained in an accident.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park, Lake City.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
Mr. Barfield was born on May 30, 1945, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Richard Barfield and Rosa Bryant Barfield. He attended Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a church musician. Mr. Barfield was a truck driver for T & M Transfer Company, Lake City for 40 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an antique car enthusiast.
Surviving is his wife, Hazel C. Barfield of the home; sister, Flora Mae King of Wyoming; and special nieces, Donna Kellar, Melissa Hutchinson, Lisa Altman and Debbie Paul.
Mr. Barfield was preceded in death by a son, Tony Barfield; sister, Vera Welch; and brother, Curtis Barfield.
