Bobby Ray Bridgeman

Bobby Ray Bridgeman, Sr., 85, passed away December 23, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House.  

A Memorial service will be held at Lake City United Methodist Church on Friday, December 27, 2019, at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Friday, at the church, prior to the service.

Bobby was born on January 24, 1934, in Martinsville, VA, son of the late Marvin and Kate Bridgeman. He was a graduate of McClenaghan High School and Furman University.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a retired school teacher and coach.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Bridgeman; son, Bill Bridgeman; granddaughter, Cameron (Cory) Richards; grandson, Campbell Bridgeman; daughter-in-law, Martha Bridgeman and several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Mangum and Geraldine Jackson, and two precious sons, Bobby Ray Bridgeman, Jr. and Scott Bridgeman.
