Brenda Faye Ward

Brenda Faye Ward, 68, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Mrs. Ward was born on August 26, 1951 in Florence County, daughter of the late Lavern Leo Ward and Garthelia Frances Poston Ward. She attended Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. Brenda was a loving and caring mother, sister and friend, with an infectious laugh that would always brighten a room. She loved animals and will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her daughter, Jessica T. Wallace of Scranton; sister, Bobbie (Kenny) McKenzie of Barrineau; niece, Kimberly Jewell of Barrineau; best friend, Brenda Stone of Johnsonville; friends, Larry Dean Wallace of Scranton and Sandrika Shipman of Andrews; cousin, Reggie Poston of Effingham; uncle, Bennie Poston of Scranton.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Poston; and special friends, Glenn McClam and Vickie Blackstock.

Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 20, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.
