Charles Anthony "Andy" Owens

Charles Anthony "Andy" Owens, 64, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Owens was born on September 25, 1952 in Florence County, son of the late Charles Olin Owens and Bobbie Jean Oakley Owens.  He was a graduate of Southside High School and retired from Ingram Lumber as a crane operator.  Mr. Owens enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his daughter, Vicky (David) Zinker of Effingham; granddaughter, Alyssa (Tim) Smith; great-grandchild, Dalton Adrian Smith; sisters, Lynn (Dannie) Timmons of Effingham and Belva (Scott) Purvis of Evergreen; brother, Kenny Owens of Effingham; and a number of nieces and nephews.
