Dexter J Coker

Mr. Dexter J. Coker, 75, husband of Jeanette Matthews Coker, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Carolinas Hospital System, Florence.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park, Lake City.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the funeral home prior to funeral services.

Mr. Coker was born on February 22, 1943, in Florence County, a son of the late Julious Harvey Coker and Velma Lois Coker. He was retired from Piggly Wiggly and IGA, where he worked as a meat cutter. Mr. Coker enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife, Jeanette M. Coker of Lake City; children, Donna (Mitchell Edwards) Coker, Renee Bryant, Tracy (Tina) Coker; grandchildren, Justin Bryant, Niya Anzlee Bryant, Dexter Byron Coker, Matthew Kirby Coker, Johnathan Crawford, Ashlyn Gaskins, Laiklyn Gaskins; great grandchild, Colton Blaine Bryant; brother Mulder (Loretta) Coker.
