Diane (Strickland) Lee

Diane Lee, 68, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Tideland-Georgetown Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Lee was born on April 18, 1951 in Florence County, daughter of the late Loran Strickland and Mary Weaver Strickland.  She was a graduate of Olanta High School and attended Bethsaida United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Lee retired from Walmart where she served as department manager for over 20 years and later retired from Florence School District 1 as Cafeteria Manager. She enjoyed playing and coaching women's softball.

Surviving are her sons, Tommy (Donna) Lee of Cades and Clay (Priscella) Lee of  Lake City; grandchildren, T.J. (Sheila) Lee, Kenzie Lee, Hunter Lee, Blake Lee and Evan Lee; great grandson, Mack Lee; and brother, Larry (Rhonda) Strickland of Scranton.

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Lee.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the funeral home.
