Donald "Shorty" Prosser

Donald "Shorty" Prosser, 74, husband of Linda Turner Prosser, died Saturday, July 27, 2019, at MUSC, Florence.

Shorty was born on October 10, 1944 in Florence County, son of the late Dillon Deleon Prosser and Rudell Cook Prosser. He was a member of Unity Christian Fellowship Church, the church choir, men's fellowship, church softball team, the Greater Pee Dee Beagle Club and Pee Dee Beagle Club.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Turner Prosser; children, Donna Prosser (Brian) Craig, Laura (Bruce Turner) Prosser and Wade (Crystal Crawford) Prosser;  siblings, Wilma "Pee Wee" (Charles) Andrews, Yvonne "Von" (Donald) Jones, Barry (Teresa) Prosser and Elaine (Steve) Milligan; grandchildren, Jessica Craig, Jarrett Craig, Easton Prosser and Anderson Prosser; great grandchild, Ashton Collins.

Shorty was preceded in death by his siblings, Dillon Deleon "Buck" Prosser, Russell "Rusty" Prosser, Harry "Hank" Prosser and Judy "Nell" Lamb.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2019, at Unity Christian Fellowship Church.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Unity Christian Fellowship Church, Timmonsville.
