Geraldine (Hutchinson) Poston

Mrs. Geraldine Hutchinson Poston, 78, wife of Bennie J. Poston, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at her residence after an illness.

Mrs. Poston was born on March 3, 1940, in Florence, daughter of the late Maxie and Marie Broach Hutchinson. She was a member of Gilead Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Bennie J. Poston of Scranton; children, Reggie (Gaye) Poston of Effingham, Greg (Jennifer) Poston of Pamplico; grandchildren, Amanda (Davey) Baxley of Georgetown, Karyn Poston, Matthew Poston and Katie Poston of Pamplico; great grandchildren, Mallory Baxley, Kylie Baxley and Caysen Baxley; sister, Doris Poston of Evergreen; brother, Jackie Hutchinson of Evergreen, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Poston was preceded in death by an infant daughter; brothers, Jerry Hutchinson and Marion Ray Hutchinson.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Garden of Memories, Florence, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
