Jean DeCamps Obituary
Jean Venters DeCamps, 75, died Thursday, January 2, 2020, at her residence after an illness.
Jean was born November 3, 1944, in Florence County, daughter of the late Sam Venters and Theora Perry Venters. She was a member of Community Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Jared (Anne) DeCamps and Janna DeCamps; grandchildren, Richard (Tiffany) Matthews, Jennifer Nelson, Braxton DeCamps, Bella DeCamps and Blakely DeCamps; great granddaughter, Mallary Matthews; siblings, Jim Venters, Iris Venters (Jakey) Altman and Terry Lynn Venters; companion, Bobby Miller; a number of nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Matthews and Arthur DeCamps; siblings, Randy Venters, Linda Cribb and Ginger Griffin.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at Grier Cemetery, Johnsonville, SC, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC.
