Judy (Poston) Hanna

Judy Poston Hanna, 75, wife of Lawrence David Hanna, died Friday, September 27, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Mrs. Hanna was born on June 12, 1944 in Florence County, daughter of the late Joseph Lonzie Poston and Daisy Ridenhour Poston.  She was a graduate of Hannah High School and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Hanna was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, where she formerly served as Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer and Youth Leader.  She was a loving wife, mother and nana.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Lawrence David Hanna of Lake City; sons, David Hanna and Kelvin (Naomi) Hanna, both of Lake City; daughter, Julie (Chris) Johnson of Lake City; grandchildren, Katelyn (Tyler) Rogers, Ashley Hanna, Kelsie Hanna, Jena Hanna, Karley Hanna, Koby Hanna, Hannah Johnson, Kammie Hanna, Lexi Hanna and Avery Johnson; siblings, Kathleen Robinson, Betty Jo (Bennie) Eaddy, Carolyn Floyd, J. L. (Marlene) Poston, Jean (Jack) White, Florence Poston and Jeanette (Glenn) Melton.

Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Lee Turner.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Pamplico.  Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the services at the church.
