Karen Jean Sisk

Karen Jean Sisk, 72, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at her residence in Florence. 

Ms. Sisk was born on November 17, 1946 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Emil Melvin Olsen and Jean Mount Olsen.  She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from East Tennessee State University and retired from North Charleston High School.

Surviving are her children, Michael Sisk and his fiancée, Heather Richardson, of Brunswick GA. and Melissa Poston and her husband, Neal, of Pamplico; grandchildren, John Michael Sisk, III of Tucson, AZ, Ben Poston and Mary Beth Poston, both of Pamplico and Sophia Richardson of Brunswick, GA; and a brother, Raymond Olsen and his wife, Linda, of Ocean Pines, MD.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, SC.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
