Linda (Welch) Tarlton

Linda Welch Tarlton, 64, wife of Howard Tarlton, died Monday, November 4, 2019, at her residence, after an illness.

Linda was born on February 22, 1955 in Florence County, daughter of the late Wade Henry Welch and Ola Mae Mims Welch.  She was a graduate of East Clarendon High School and was a homemaker.  Linda enjoyed riding horses, taking pictures, spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, Howard Tarlton of Lake City; daughter, Tonya (Derick Hardy) Feagin of Lake City; son, Drew Feagin of Lake City; grandchildren, Olivia Barrineau and Campbell Hardy, both of Lake City; four stepchildren; sisters, Judy (Wayne) Frye, Lisa (David) Malone, Kim (Jody Mims) Mims and Rita (Joey Bryant) Brown, all of Lake City; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Johnny Tedder of Hartsville; sister-in-law, Pam Dukes of Timmonsville; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Lynn Feagin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, with burial to follow at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2019, prior to the services at the funeral home.
