Melissa McDaniel Turner, 54, wife of Eddie Turner, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House, after an illness.
Melissa was born December 31, 1964 in Florence County, daughter of the late Joseph A. McDaniel and Evelyn Powell McDaniel. She was a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and was a homemaker. Melissa was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, where she was the President of the ladies group and a member of the church choir.
Surviving are her husband, George Edward "Eddie" Turner, Jr. of Pamplico; son, William "Will" (Heather) Turner, of Pamplico; grandchildren, William Edward "Jr" Turner, Jr., Kinsley Nicole Rayne Turner, all of Pamplico; siblings, James Ronole (Vicky) McDaniel and Amy (Bobby) Tarlton, both of Florence.
Melissa was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Elaine McDaniel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Prospect United Methodist Church, Pamplico, SC. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, August 16, 2019, at Prospect United Methodist Church, 1256 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
