Mitchell H McCutcheon

Mitchell H. McCutcheon, 70, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. McCutcheon was born on September 30, 1949 in Florence County, son of the late Carvin McCutcheon and Clara Kinder McCutcheon. He graduated from J. Paul Truluck High School, Lake City and attended Florence Darlington Technical College. He served in the South Carolina Army National Guard, Lake City Unit. Mr. McCutcheon retired as Supervisor for W. Lee Flowers & Company. He enjoyed farming and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughter, Amy McCutcheon of Scranton; son, Chad (Amy) McCutcheon of Freeport, Texas; grandchildren, Elijah McCutcheon, Vasanti "Diya" McCutcheon and Karen Gamble; brother, Eddie (Patricia) McCutcheon of Scranton.

Mr. McCutcheon was preceded in death by his grandson, Saviyon McCutcheon.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at High Hill Cemetery, Scranton.  

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
