Nannie Joyce (Hogan) Gore

Nannie Joyce Hogan Gore, 85, wife of the late Reverend Lloyd Gore, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Commander Nursing Center, Florence.

Mrs. Gore was born on February 14, 1933 in Rockingham, NC, daughter of the late John Little Hogan and Ida Belle Hurley Hogan Harris.  She was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her children, Harold "Butch" (Angel) Gore, Jr. of Johnsonville, Denise Gore Buck and Gwen Gore (Reverend Lanney) Ard, both of Pamplico; daughter-in-law, Brenda Gore of Johnsonville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Gore and a son-in-law, Andy Buck.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2019, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico.
