R.W. Dail Morris, 85, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Lake Moultrie Nursing Home in St. Stephens, SC, after an illness.
Mr. Morris was born October 13, 1934 in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Lewis William Morris and Lillie Mae Rodgers Morris. He was a crane operator for GE, attended McKenzie Tabernacle of New Zion and Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries of Jedburg.
Surviving are his children, Donald Dail (Darlene) Morris of Goose Creek and Lisa (Mack) O'Quinn of Ladson; grandchildren, Daniel (Casey) Morris of Moncks Corner, Dylan (fiancée Ciara) Morris of Goose Creek and Alexis O'Quinn of Ladson; great granddaughter, Island Sage Morris of Moncks Corner; brothers, Hoyt Morris of Walterboro, Linwood Morris of Lake City and Ronnie (Betty) Morris of Sumter.
Mr. Morris was predeceased by siblings, JD Morris, Leona Morris Belflower and Henry Morris.
Funeral service will be 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Leo Church of God Cemetery, Lake City.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home.
