Ricky Lavone Prosser

Ricky Lavone Prosser, 57, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Prosser was born on December 19, 1961 in Florence County, son of the late Eugene Prosser and Dorothy Lee Stone Prosser.  Mr. Prosser attended Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy. He was a retired farmer and loved to go fishing.

Surviving are his life partner of 19 years, Georgia H. Lynch of Effingham; step-daughter, Kristy Lynch of Effingham; sisters, Katie (John) Jones of Effingham, Nollie "Libby" Drew of Timmonsville and Rosa Lee (Chester) Cox of Murrells Inlet.

Mr. Prosser was preceded in death by his brother, Herman Eugene Prosser; sister, Barbara Jean Waters. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Coward.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home.
