Ronald Ray "Ronnie" Gause

Ronald Ray "Ronnie" Gause, 75, husband of the late Jatannah Floyd Gause, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his residence.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, with burial to follow at High Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mr. Gause was born on April 28, 1942 in Florence County, son of the late Robert Mason Gause and Rosanna Graham Gause.  He was formerly employed with Vulcraft Division of Nucor and later retired from Stone Container of Florence.  Ronnie was a member of Scranton Masonic Lodge.  He was a pilot and enjoyed flying, fishing and riding motorcycles. 

Surviving are his son, Edward Gause of Surfside Beach; brothers, Damon (Patricia) Gause of Lake City and Bobby (Ina) Gause of Coward; and his extended family, Exchange Students, Björn Boetticher, Petri Soinneneu, Juan Manual Hinestvosa, Angela Maria Manual Hinestvosa, Alexandra Strück and Conne Strück.

Mr. Gause was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Gause, Harry Gause and Badger Gause; sisters, Judy (Keith) Webster, Jeanette (Jack) Moore and Betty Jean (Laurie) Clanton.
