Mrs. Ruth Poston Hyman, 89, wife of the late Aaron Hyman, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Honorage Nursing Home, Florence, after an illness.
Mrs. Hyman was born on August 1, 1928 in Florence, daughter of the late Harley A. Poston and Beatrice Calcutt Poston. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from A. B. Dick.
Surviving are her son, Barry (Teresa) Hardee of Florence; grandchildren, Benjamin Hardee of Pamplico, Justin Hardee of Florence, Tracie (Jeremy) Smith of Florence, Garrett (Anna) Taylor of Johnsonville, Summer (Timmons) Pettigrew of Charleston and Brandon (Carla) Hardee of Florence; sixteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hyman was predeceased by her first husband Herbert Hardee, a daughter, Gayle Dennis, son, Ricky Hardee, grandson, Chris Taylor.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Pamplico, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Pamplico.
