Uldine Coleman Springs, 82, wife of the late Carl Edward Springs, died Thursday, August 29, 2019, at her residence, after an illness.
Mrs. Springs was born on July 10, 1937 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Madison Coleman and Lelia Parnell Coleman. She was a retired seamstress and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are her daughters, Diane Hill of Scranton and Faye (Don) Neiman of Turbeville; son, Lanny E. (Betty Lou) Springs of Turbeville; grandchildren, Kevin Hill, Teresa Hill, Stephanie Howell, Bernard Hill, Carlton Hill, Melissa Nettles, Daniel Hill, Andy Hill and William Springs; eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Grace Price of Michigan, Bobby E. (Ruby) Coleman of Georgia, Angela Cater of Florence, Remona (Ervin) Carraway of Olanta, Polly Cook of Lake City and Betty Hickman of Olanta.
Mrs. Springs was preceded in death by siblings, M. T. Coleman, Jr., Ruby Prescott, Walter Coleman and Wyman Coleman; great grandson, Michael White.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery, Pleasant Grove Road, Lynchburg.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
