Miss Angela Denise Lamb “Miss Daisy”, 61, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Angela was born on December 28, 1963, in Florence County, daughter of the late Sidney O. Lamb and Blanche Jacqueline “Jackie” Fryar Lamb. Angela lived a life full of joy, courage, and love that touched everyone who knew her. She taught those around her the meaning of unconditional love, perseverance, and kindness.
Angela had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. She enjoyed music, activities, puzzles, crafts, and she found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and warm heart were an inspiration to all, reminding others to see life through eyes of compassion and simplicity. Angela was a member of Lynches River Free Will Baptist Church, where she helped her Mama teach Sunday School. She also attended the Lower Florence County Disabilities Workshop in Lake City for over 40 years.
Surviving are her guardian & cousin, Terri Lamb (Shawn) Hudson of Effingham; brother, Kenneth O. (Janice) Lamb of Lake City; along with numerous family members.
Angela was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wallace L. Fryar & Zuline O. Lowder Fryar; paternal grandparents, Ernest Lamb and Kathleen Hutchinson Lamb.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. The family requests everyone wear pink to honor Angela to the funeral.
