Ms. Angilene Daniels Lynch, affectionately known as “Grannie Tannie”, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Ms. Lynch was born on September 30, 1935, in Olanta, daughter of the late Colin Hartley Daniels and Launa Floyd Daniels. She was a 1954 graduate of Lake City High School and a lifetime member of Camp Branch FWB Church. She retired from Baxter Travenol after 31 years of service and Belk after 21 years, in 2013. She was a devoted Christian and read her Bible daily. She was a strong, caring woman who had a heart for others. Her pie baking for anyone sick and shut-ins was known throughout her community.
Surviving are her daughter, Patti Lowder Shady of Scranton; grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Webb of Scranton, Erin (Rocky) Strickland and Heather Shady, both of Lake City, Justin Shady of Scranton, Michael (Courtney) Shady and Holly Shady, both of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Haleigh Altman, Allie Strickland, Joah Knight and Luke Strickland; sister, Loretta Daniels of Lake City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin and lifelong friend, Roselyn Lee of N. Charleston.
Ms. Lynch was preceded in death by her daughter, DeEtte “Dee” Lowder Young; siblings, Betty Matthews, John Daniels and Ray Floyd.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home.
