Obituary
Mr. Arthur Louis “A. L.” Young, 78, husband of Karen Young, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Wilson, NC.
Mr. Young was born on December 14, 1946, in Florence County, son of the late Roy Young and Lottie Poston Young. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during Vietnam. Mr. Young attended Beulah Baptist Church during his childhood, was a graduate of Pamplico High School and retired from Bridgestone Firestone.
Surviving are his wife Karen Thuy Thi Tang Young of Wilson, NC; sons, Ashley Roy Young (Peggy & her daughter Zoey) of Winterville, NC and Andrew Ray (Heather) Young of Wentzville, MO; step son, Minh Kuan Tang of Wilson, NC; sisters, Barbara (Phil) Britton and Jackie (Bill) Bazen, both of Pamplico; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Young, Jr.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2025, at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery, Pamplico.
