On May 31, 2025, Bazen McCale Locklair, better known to many as “BaBa”, was called home. He will be missed as a jokester and the most loving, considerate and respectful young man. He was very outgoing and loved to hunt, run dogs and play golf. Bazen’s greatest accomplishments was seeing how fast he could get under your skin. He was more like a brother than a friend to many. Bazen would do anything for anybody. He was the kind of friend that always had your back no matter what the situation was. Bazen will be missed tremendously.
Bazen was born on July 5, 2005, to Warren Locklair and Amanda Hucks Locklair in Florence County. In addition to his father and mother, he leaves behind his loving brother, Hayden Locklair; his loving “Mema”, Mary Bazen Hucks; “Nana”, Sybil Turner Locklair; uncles, Eric (Tiffany) Hucks and Scotty (Ellen) Locklair; aunt, Lisa Ramos and a host of loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Bazen was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Locklair and his “PaPa”, William LeRoy Hucks.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM, Friday, June 6, 2025, at Hannah Pamplico High School Gymnasium. Bazen will be laid to rest following the service at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the school.
Memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
