Becki (McGee) Collins

Rebecca “Becki” McGee Collins, 58, widow of William Dovelt Collins, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Becki was born on April 13, 1964, in Florence County, daughter of Charlie B. McGee and Bobbie Jean Wilkes McGee. Becki attended Faith Holiness Church, where she was the church secretary, Junior Sunday school teacher, and children’s church teacher. Becki was a faithful, devoted and dedicated member, always putting others first at church and at home. She gave all she had to her family and church, unselfishly. Becki was a true example of a godly Christian woman. She loved her family whole-heartedly, especially her grandbabies, Kaleb and Kamryn. Becki had a wonderful sense of humor and would’ve thought it was funny she passed away on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II.

Surviving are her sons, Derrick (Danielle) Collins and Lance (Danielle) Collins, both of Coward; her heart strings, Kaleb Collins and Kamryn Collins, both of Coward; mother, Bobbie Jean McGee; father, Charlie B. McGee; brothers, Richard McGee of Scranton, Frankie (Debbie) McGee of Pamplico and Michael McGee of Scranton; brother-in-law, Chad (Sherry) Collins of Florence; niece, Allison Collins of Florence; special niece, Paula McGee (Steven) Davis of Knoxville, TN; great-nieces, Bridgett Davis and Brooklyn Davis; great-nephew, Allen Davis; grandchildren by love, Caelyn Godwin, Lucas Godwin, Zayleigh Wren and Bentley Wren, all of Coward; special friend, Alishia Wiles; fur baby, R.J.

Becki was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, William Dovelt Collins; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dovelt and Doris Collins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with a private burial at The Garden of Rest, Coward.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
