Becky Marie Floyd

Becky Marie Floyd, 34, passed away Wednesday morning, April 20, 2022 at her home in Lake City surrounded by her family.

Becky was born on November 12, 1987, in Florence County, daughter of Wayne and Janet McElveen Floyd. She was a happy child, always smiling and loved Peppa Pig.  

Surviving in addition to her parents are, her uncle and aunt, Ronnie and Betty Carter; uncle, David McElveen; aunt, Julie Studt; and many cousins.

Becky was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rannie and Mary Floyd; maternal grandparents, Everett and Marie McElveen.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Priscilla Welch and her staff, Jordan Sauls and Grayson Rhodes at South Carolina House Calls, Florence County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, Amedisys Home Health, First Choice Ambulance Service and her caregivers, Mary McGill and Nikki Epps.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 23, 2022, at McKenzie Tabernacle Cemetery, New Zion.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church fellowship hall.
