Benji Ira Rogers, 64, husband of Ava Rogers, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House.
Mr. Rogers was born on July 30, 1955 in Kingstree, son of the late Liston Wilson Rogers and Marian Hill Rogers Dubose. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling with his son on church related trips. He was a board member of Kingstree Moose Lodge #1886 and a member of the Kingstree Rotary Club and employed at Palmetto Synthetics.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is his son; Reverend Ben (Amy) Rogers of Winnsboro; sisters, Louise (James) Mouzon of Kingstree and Linda (Randy) Taylor of Lexington; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hill Rogers and William Rogers; step-father, Fred Dubose.
A private family service, Saturday, August 1, 2020, with a public graveside service following at Bethesda Cemetery, 2927 Cades Rd, Cades, SC 29518, 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2020.
