Mrs. Betty Joyce Floyd Lee, 80, wife of Johnny Lee, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Lee was born on January 27, 1944, in Clarendon County, daughter of the late Rev. Herbert A. Floyd and Ida Mae Floyd. She faithfully attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Lee retired from Walker-Gamble Elementary School where she worked in food service.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Johnny Lee; son, Clay Lee of Lake City; daughters, Sinkie (Mark) Driggers and Joye (Kit) McLean both of Scranton; grandchildren, Maxi (LeeAnn) Lee, Ryan Lee, Madison Lee, Kelly Driggers, C. J. Driggers and Kimberly (Anthony) Graham; great grandchildren, Madalynn Baxley, Austin Baxley, Ella Graham and Marley Lee; sister-in-law, Pearcy Floyd; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her siblings, Roxie Mae Beard, Buena Frye, Fraidy Floyd, Bobby Ray Floyd, Mitchell Floyd and Nick Floyd.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in Church Cemetery.
