Bobby W. Miles

Bobby W. Miles, 73, husband of Pamela Miles, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his residence.

Bobby was born on June 21, 1948, in Florence County, son of Frances Sally Miles Graham and the late Robert Miles.  Bobby was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.  He worked as a maintenance technician with Nanya for twenty-one (21) years and T. S. Ragsdale Company for thirty-one (31) years.  Bobby enjoyed bird watching and he could name all the birds he saw. He enjoyed gardening and especially sharing his garden with his friends and neighbors.  Bobby enjoyed fishing and barbecuing but was best known for his special bbq sauce.

Surviving is his wife, Pamela Hunt Miles of Lake City; sons, Robert David Miles II, (Susan) and Chadwick Wayne Miles, both of Camp Branch; daughter, Chasity Lynn Miles (Ernie) of Camp Branch; stepsons, Clifton D. Lee (Sharon) of Florence and Christopher J. Lee ( Amanda) of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Miranda Miles McGee (David) of Cades, Kayelynn Miles Keefe (Austin) of Coward, Carter Reese Miles and Boone Miles Anderson, both of Camp Branch; step-grandchildren, Graysen Lee, Braeden Lee and Collin Lee, all of Florence, Noah Lee, Colton Lee and Haelyn Lee, all of Statesboro, GA; great-grandchild, Carol Leann McGee of Cades; sister,  Bonnie Hays (Bo) of Conway, and his dog, Mattie.

Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Barfield.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 16, 2022, at New Zion Baptist Church, with burial to follow at church cemetery.

The family will receive friends, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Carolina Funeral Home.
