Braxton Howell

Harley Braxton Howell, 29, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, from injuries sustained in accident.

Braxton was born on November 25, 1994, in Florence County, son of Tonya Calcutt Howell and Cecil Brady Howell. He was a blue collar country boy, would lend a helping hand to anyone with expecting nothing in return and was an avid Gamecock fan. Braxton loved everyone as family, whether you were blood or not.

Surviving are his mother, Tonya Calcutt Howell of Johnsonville; father, Brad Howell of Johnsonville; siblings, Bradlee Howell of Charleston, Bethany Howell of Myrtle Beach and Parker Provau of Johnsonville; numerous extended family members whom he loved dearly.

Braxton was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evone Poston Calcutt and paternal grandmother, Christine Powell Howell.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be 4:30 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Mill Branch Cemetery, Johnsonville.
