Carol Stephen Andrews

Mr. Carol Stephen Andrews, 79, husband of Myra Stevens Andrews, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee surrounded by his family.

Mr. Andrews was born on July 10, 1945, in Florence County, son of the late Louise Jordan Oliver Andrews.  He was a Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Andrews worked as an auto body repairman for many years. His favorite past time was working in his garden and he took great pride in his tomato crop, but his greatest joy was his family and spending time with them.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Myra Stevens Andrews; children, Heath (Tammy) Andrews and Scarlett Andrews Medina both of Scranton; grandchildren, Gable Bowman, Carmen Medina, Zachary (Christy) Baxley and Drake Matthews; great grandchildren, Sawyer Andrews, Olivia Matthews, Isabelle Andrews and Chloe Andrews; sister, Linda Collins of Irmo; a number of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Philip Collins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.

A Memorial service will be, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
