Charles K Evans

Charles K Evans Sr., 80, of Summerville, SC, husband of Betty Evans, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

A Graveside Service will be held on 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Lynch's Memorial Cemetery, Lynch's River State Park, Scranton.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville,  from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

 Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Interstitial Lung Disease.

Charles was born on October 10, 1941 in Coward, SC, a son of Lushen Evans and Blanche Evans. Charles spent most of his life in the truck driving business but in his free time he enjoyed going fishing.

Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Evans of Summerville, SC; sons, Dale W. Evans (Kristy) of Cottageville, SC, Charles K. Evans Jr. of Summerville, SC; daughters, Theresa Scharlock (Richard) of Summerville, SC, Sharon Crowe (Craig) of Summerville, SC; brother, Sandy Evans of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Charles is predeceased by his parents, Lushen and Blanche Evans, and his grandson Richard J. Scharlock III.
