Mr. Charles A. “BoBo” Stephens, 83, husband of the late Loretta Lee Stephens, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Stephens was born on May 21, 1941, in Florence County, son of the late James Edward Stephens, Jr. and Lizzie Dozier Stephens. He was a member of Prospect Methodist Church and retired from Florence County Public Works.
Surviving are his daughter, Susan S. (Joe) Lane of Pamplico; granddaughter, Mary L. (David) Kersey of Pamplico; great grandchildren, Lane (Raven Hinson) Cox, Addison Cox and John Rex Kersey, all of Pamplico; and a great-great granddaughter, Sailor Cox.
Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his siblings & their spouses, William (Christine) Turner, Vivian (Deleon) Coleman, Margie (Charlie) McCall, Willard “Doll” (Leola) Turner, Kate (Junior) Vaughn, Robert (Mazie) Stephens, Hazel (Larry) Priebe, and Junior (Margie) Stephens.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their love and care.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Prospect Methodist Church, Pamplico with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Prospect Methodist Church, 1256 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583 and at other times at the home, 1594 South Grapevine Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
