Clayton "Clay" Joseph Harrelson

Mr. Clayton Joseph “Clay” Harrelson, 41 passed away, Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Clay was born in Florence County on August 19, 1983, the son of the late Jo Lynn Hill Harrelson and the late Clayton Harrelson. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and attended Francis Marion University. Clay stayed close to home, as he never wanted to be far from his family. He enjoyed “shooting hoops”, watching basketball, football on TV, and playing video games.

Clay leaves behind his brother, Devin (Jenna) Powell; niece and nephew, Madison and Nicholas Powell; brother, Todd (Brian) Harrelson; sister, Traci Harrelson; stepmother, Patricia Todd Harrelson, all of Johnsonville; as well as his aunt, Joy Hill (Rick) Roof of Lexington, SC. Clay also leaves behind a large extended family of other aunts, uncles, and cousins as well.

Clay was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Jo Lynn; his grandparents, Joe Edward & Juliet Eva Hill, James Lucian & Sarah Lillian Harrelson, Ronnie & Betty Lee Todd; his brother, Justin Todd; his biological mother, Melinda Todd; and his aunt, Joan Hill Daniels.
