Coker Eugene Welch, 58, husband of the late LuAnne Haselden Welch, died Thursday, May 21, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence,

Mr. Welch was born on April 12, 1962 in Florence County, son of the late Coker Welch and Fannie Rea Lee Welch. He was a graduate of East Clarendon High School and a member of New Hope Christian Church in New Zion.

Surviving are his brother, Andy Welch and his fiancée, Melissa Mims of Turbeville; and his niece, Taylor Welch and her fiancé, Josh McCrea.

Mr. Welch was preceded in death by his brother, Hank Welch; and his daughter, Gina Welch.

Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
