Mrs. Daisy Annette Altman, 78, wife of the late Clinton Altman, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, peacefully at her home in Cades.
Mrs. Altman was born on May 26, 1947, in Sumter County, daughter of the late Louie Edward Jennings and Edna McLeod. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florence. Mrs. Altman partially retired after 50 years as an executive secretary and realtor. She enjoyed drag racing, sewing, and reading in her free time. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Mary Ann Altman of Scranton, Ricky (Pam) Altman of Lake City and Donald E. (Penny) Altman of Scranton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Altman was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Jean Griffin, Larry Jennings, Raymond Jennings and Wayne Jennings.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Lake City Memorial Park.
