David Thomas Parker

Mr. David Thomas Parker, 48, of Coward, husband of Tammy M. Parker, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at McLeod Medical Center Dillon.

Mr. Parker was born on December 30, 1976, in Florence County, son of Stephanie Jean Schuetz and the late Howard Eugene Parker, Sr.

Mr. Parker was a member of Effingham Church of God. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains, along the river, and vacationing at the beach, and he especially loved fishing. He was full of life and had a way of making others laugh. He found joy in riding his moped, being outdoors, and sharing time with family and friends. Above all, he dearly loved his family and his faithful dog, Daisy.

Surviving are his wife, Tammy McKenzie Parker of Coward; daughter, Victoria Parker of Florence; mother, Stephanie Jean Schuetz of Coward; brother, Woody (Karen) Parker of Coward; sister, Michele Strickland of Charlotte, NC; special nieces, Brianna Dewitt, Sierra Dewitt and Junne Dewitt, all of Coward; great niece, Judy Junne “Peanut”; special friend, Shana Altman; niece, Morgan Parker of Lumberton, NC.

Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Meadowbrook Church of God, Sumter.
