David Benjamin Windham, 79, husband of Suzanne Tillman Windham, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Windham was born on December 5, 1938 in Florence County, son of the late Harmon Buddy Windham and Fannie Blackmon Windham. He was a member of Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. David was a veteran of the Army National Guard and the owner of Windham Builders.
Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Windham of Scranton; children, Cheryl (Randy) Graham of Lake City, Teresa "Bug" Windham of Scranton, Jason Mathews of Mooresville, NC and David Nicholas "Nick" Windham of Scranton; grandchildren, Blake Graham, Faith Graham (Chase) Player, Teri Brooke Osborne, Austin Mathews, Alyssa Mathews and Kayleigh Mathews; great grandchildren, Patience Lee and Kinsly Lee; siblings, Pearl (Donald) Welch, Pat Fletcher, Kathy Sharpe, Betsy Tauzan, Miriam (Jessie) Baker, Billy Windham, Dexter Windham and Jerry Windham.
Mr. Windham was preceded in death by grandchildren, Daniel "Brooks" Lee, Benjamin Lee and Jordan Mathews; and brothers, Thomas Windham and Harmon Windham.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the home, 2304 Red Wing Lane, Scranton.
