Mrs. Debbie Lou Bell Hanna, 64, of Pamplico, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at MUSC Health, Florence.
Mrs. Hanna was born on May 1, 1960, in Florence County, daughter of the late Ned Levern Bell and Bonnie Ruth Smith Bell. A lover of God’s word, Debbie dedicated time each day to reading her Bible. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every challenge and blessing. She found inspiration in gospel music, often humming along to her favorite hymns. Family was at the heart of Debbie’s world. She cherished her grandchildren, showering them with love, laughter and endless stories. Nature held a special place in Debbie’s heart. She found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of being outdoors, whether it was a leisurely stroll on the beach or relaxing in her favorite swing. Debbie had a soft spot for animals, often caring for stray cats and dogs, providing them with food, shelter and love.
Surviving are her Companion of 24 years, Frankie McGee; children, Johnny Lou Allen Hanna and Bonnie Jeanette Hanna; grandchildren, Chelsa Marie Hanna, Johnthan Avery Hanna, Matthew Franklin Hanna, Anna Grace Nicole Hanna, David Sean Hanna and Wylie Hartfield; niece, Susan Haselden; siblings, James Rusty (Linn) Bell.
Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by her siblings, George Levern Bell, Jack Odell Bell, Frances Lillian Bell Stanley and Charles Watson Bell.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Lower Lee Cemetery, Scranton, with visitation to follow.
