Denise (Gore) Buck

Linda Denise Gore Buck, 62, wife of the late Glenn Andrew "Andy" Buck, died Thursday, September 10, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Denise was born August 23, 1958 in Rockingham, NC; daughter of the late Reverend Harold Lloyd Gore, Sr. and Nannie Joyce Hogan Gore. She attended Prospect Independent Methodist Church and New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, David Andrew Buck of Havelock, NC; siblings, Gwen Gore (Rev. Lanney) Ard of Pamplico and Harold "Butch" (Angel) Gore, Jr. of Johnsonville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Denise was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Gore.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.
