Dennis Paul Kirby

Dennis Paul Kirby, 64, husband of Leslie Matthews Kirby, died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his residence in Coward.

Dennis was born on May 1, 1958, in Florence County, son of the late Samuel William Kirby and Mary Cook Barley.  Dennis was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He was an animal lover and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and gardening.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Leslie M. Kirby, of Coward are his children; Keisher Aldazaba of Fayetteville, NC; Sabrina Kirby of Conway; Alisia McFadden of Florence; Hollie Lynch, Amberly Kirby, Katie Kirby and Hunter Kirby all of Coward; grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Keira, Destinee, Journee, Chance, Quest, Alyssa and Isiah; great grandchild, Easton; siblings, Ronnie (Elaine) Kirby of Brazoria, Texas; Debra McGee of Coward and Dorothy Deem of Maryland; special friends, Penny Matthews, Karen Parker and Woody Parker.

Dennis was preceded in death by one brother Wayne Kirby.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Matthews Cemetery in Coward. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
