Donna (Coker) Ward

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Coker Ward, who left this world surrounded by love on March 24, 2025, at the age of 61. Donna was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved daughter, and dear sister whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Born to Leo and Abby, who preceded her in death, Donna was later raised and lovingly cared for by her parents, Donnie and Angie Coker. She is survived by her three sons, Luke, Jacob, and Daniel, who were the pride and joy of her life along with her life partner Tab Colby. She also leaves behind two adored granddaughters, Lily and Ripley, who brought her endless happiness. Donna’s family was further enriched by her daughters-in-law, Rebekah and Charee, whom she loved as her own.

Donna shared a deep and lasting bond with her siblings, Julie, David, Eric, Lori, and Cindy, who will forever cherish her memory and the love she so freely gave. She was a woman of unwavering strength, compassion, and selflessness, always placing family at the center of her life.

Her presence was a source of comfort, her laughter a beacon of joy, and her love a gift that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she left behind. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will remain in the countless lives she touched.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Little Star Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful soul she was.

Donna will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love and legacy will continue to shine in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

Rest in peace, Donna. Your love and light remain with us always.
