Dorothy Lee Patrick

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Patrick, 75, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at MUSC Black River, Cades.

Mrs. Patrick was born on November 19, 1950, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Rushton Linwood Lee and Mellie Goins Purvis. Mrs. Patrick was a devoted member of Matthews Tabernacle and retired from Carolina Hospital, where she dedicated many years of service. She enjoyed fishing and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Mrs. Patrick will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and love.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt appreciation and special thanks to all of the nurses and caregivers with Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care, kindness, and support shown to Mrs. Patrick and her family during her illness.

Surviving are her son, Derrick Patrick; grandchildren, Tenleigh, Dalton, Alyssa, Devin, Emily, Drake and Billie; great grandchild, Rayn; siblings, Sandra Wilson, Carol Parrott, Michael (Cathy) Lee, Georgia (Curtis) Parrott, Lora Broach, Renea Lee, Billy (Teresa) Lee and Allen (Angela) Purvis.

Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by a son, David L. Patrick, Jr.; daughter, Ramona Patrick; sister, Mertie Osborne; brother, Joey Lee.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Cades.
