Edward "Bunky" O. Filyaw

Mr. Edward “Bunky” O. Filyaw, 75, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at Morrell Nursing Center in Hartsville.

Mr. Filyaw was born on October 3, 1948, in Florence County, son of the late E. C. “Cleve” Filyaw and Doris Matthews Filyaw. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Vietnam and he was a retired truck driver.

Surviving are his daughter, Donna (James) Moore; grandchildren, James Moore, Jr., Heather Moore and Christopher Moore; great grandchild, Christian Moore; sister, Cecile F. (Tommy) Knight; niece, Melissa Knight; nephew, Bryan (Lindsey) Knight; great nieces, Kaydin, Kenleigh, and Kindsley; special friend, Linda Moore.

Mr. Filyaw was preceded in death by his former wife, Catherine Lynch Filyaw.

Graveside Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Cemetery.
