Edward "Eddie" Gray

Edward "Eddie" Gray, III, 57, husband of Sharon Hill Gray, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro.

Mr. Gray was born on March 13, 1963 in Williamsburg County, son of the late Ralph Edward Gray, II and Gail Brown Gray.  He was a former member of DRAF, Drag Racing Association of Florence and was certified in the Jerry Bickel Race Car Manufacturer Class.  

Surviving are his wife, Sharon H. Gray of Summerton; son, Jesse N. Gray of Summerton; sister, Suzanne Gray of Lake City; friends, Mark Matthews of Coward, Mark McKnight of Scranton, Billy Filyaw of Lake City and Lee Powell of Kingstree.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norwood Brown and Jennie Lee Brown; paternal grandparents, Ralph Edward Gray and Eunice Brown Gray.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.
