Elaine Parrott Eaddy, 60, died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home, after an illness.
Elaine was born on April 24, 1961 in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Walter Laverne "Tooney" Parrott and Shirley Faye Floyd Parrott. She was a graduate of Cades-Hebron High School and was a rural mail carrier with the USPS. She was a very loving and strong mother and grandmother who enjoyed flower gardening. Elaine was an accomplished cross-stitcher who was featured in "Designs by Gloria Patton". Her piece called "Noah's Ark" was published in the Better Homes and Garden Magazine. Elaine leaves behind a large, loving family that loved her dearly.
Surviving are her children, Phillip Eaddy, Jr. of Johnsonville and Tara Eaddy Barrineau of Barrineau; grandchildren, Harper Barrineau, Darcy Barrineau and Brystal Barrineau; sister, Carolyn (Mark) Huber of Lexington; brothers, Russell (Sherry) Parrott of Lake City, Gregg (Jennifer) Parrott and Anthony (Bridget) Parrott, both of Cades; a number of nieces and nephews; and her four legged companion, Tater.
Elaine was preceded in death by her infant brother, Dexter Parrott; and a special aunt and uncle, Libby and Gene Floyd.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, July 19, 2021, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, July 19, 2021, at the church.
