Ms. Elizabeth Brown Pollard, 55, of Lake City, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Pollard was born on July 10, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Preston Carlyle Brown, Jr., and Doris Gene Bowman Brown. She was a master barber and loved traveling to the mountains and beach. Mrs. Pollard was known to many as “little bit”. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, singing, cooking, butterflies and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Haley McKissick of Lake City; son, Sean (Kim) McKissick of Lake City; grandchildren, Marley Carson, Trinity Carson, Karley Monroe, Kapers Monroe, Sean Preston McKissick, T’asia Burgess, Kaleyah Salters, Maya Salters, Jayden McKissick, Kainon McKissick and Liam McKissick; special cousins, Anne and Duncan, of TN; special friends, Patty Brown, Stacey Parker, Shannon Yarborough, Lee Godwin and Tahira Frierson; ex-husband, Shawn Pollard of Murrells Inlet; her dog, Zeus.
Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by a brother, John Brown.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
