Mrs. Elizabeth “Libby” Baker Parker, 90, wife of the late William Parker, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at The Palms at Florence.
Mrs. Parker was born on May 5, 1935, and was the daughter of Frenly Clinton Baker and Elizabeth McElveen Baker. She was raised from an 8-day old infant upon the death of her mother by her Aunt Gertie and Uncle Jody Baker. She was educated in the Hebron School District and Williamsburg Technical School. She retired from Carolina Power & Light Company after 34 years. Mrs. Libby was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake City.
Surviving are her granddaughter, Beth Parker of Rock Springs, WY; special nieces and nephew, Jack and Debby Smith, Carolyn Ard; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her son, Mickey Parker; brothers, Ray Baker, Gerald Baker, Kenny Baker; sisters, Cora Lynn Moore, Juanita Askins, Elsie Faye Smith; her foster parents, Jody and Gertie Baker; foster brothers, Alva Baker, Mark Baker; foster sisters, Clarice Hoffman, Gwen Collins Harrelson and Molly Dale Evans.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the chapel. Burial will be private.
