Emma Kennedy Obituary

Emma Baxley Kennedy, 86, wife of the late Walter Kennedy, died Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Lake Moultrie Nursing Home, St. Stephen.

Mrs. Kennedy was born on February 3, 1932 in Florence County, daughter of the late Mitchell Baxley and Margaret Stone Baxley. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and was retired from Talon, Inc.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Braxton of Lake City; grandchildren, Franklin Connell, Brian Connell and Emily Connell; great grandchildren, Carolyn, Jashana, Brayden, Gilliard and Remmi; sister, Judy Braxton; and a special friend, Carrol Gray.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
