Mrs. Emmaline Barrineau Calcutt, 93, widow of Wallace H. Calcutt, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.
Emmaline was born on November 30, 1930 in Barrineau, SC to Henry L. and Ida Mims Barrineau. She was an active member of Barrineau P.H. Church where she loved singing in the choir. Emmaline had a heart for the sick and enjoyed checking in on those in need. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Her family was her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Ernest Barrineau, Timothy Barrineau, Billy Barrineau, H. L. Barrineau, Cecil Barrineau, Edwin Barrineau, Thelma Gibbs, Sudie Green, Annease McElveen, Mattie Lee Chavis, and Christine Barrineau.
She is survived by her two sons Don (Kay) Wilson of Lake City and Phil (Lee) Wilson of Goose Creek. She was a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren Hope (Steven) Lee, Anna Wilson, Caroline (David) Leslie, Ryan (Hayden) Wilson as well as her six great-grandchildren Owen, Harper, Luke, Ellis, Valley, Piper, and a very special niece Frankie Welch.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Judy Williams, Thelma Matthews, and Belinda Shields for their love, care, and compassion.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
